Job summary

NADG is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee NADG’s Florida portfolio, ensuring efficient operations across enclosed malls and retail centers. You will travel regionally to sites, lead property teams, and drive operational excellence with a hands-on management style.

The role requires 5–7 years of leadership experience in retail real estate or related fields, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to coordinate budgets, capital plans, and tenant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in property/retail operations or related field.
• Experience in building operations, maintenance, vendor management and project execution.
• Ability to assume Property Manager responsibilities on an interim basis.
• Experience managing projects and budgets with hands-on approach.
• Ability to build credibility with teams, tenants and leadership.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to self-manage and work with limited bureaucracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel frequently in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Support the operational performance of NADG's Florida retail portfolio through regular property visits, operational assessments, and collaboration with on-site teams to identify opportunities and advance property-level initiatives.
• Conduct operational reviews and property inspections, with a focus on maintenance standards, curb appeal, vendor performance, tenant experience and overall asset presentation.
• Step into Property Manager responsibilities on an interim or full-time basis as needed, assuming day-to-day management of one or more assets to ensure continuity of operations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and capital planning by providing operational insight, cost recommendations and field-level observations.
• Assist with procurement initiatives, contract reviews and vendor management programs across the portfolio.
• Support property management teams with tenant openings, relocations, common area standards and operational readiness for leasing activity and redevelopment initiatives.
• Assist with emergency response planning and property-level operational challenges as needed.
• Prepare reports, photos, updates and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Promote operational excellence by promoting best practices across the portfolio, identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiencies, reduce operating costs, and enhance the tenant and customer experience.
