Job summary

Burrowes Insurance is seeking a Personal Lines sales professional to sell Homeowners and Automobile insurance to Florida-based clients. The role emphasizes new business development through referrals, building a profitable book, and collaborating with the service team for policy servicing and renewals.

Independent contractor / agency partner role with the option to work remotely or in-agency (Florida-based).

Qualifications

• Active Florida Property & Casualty license (220/2044).
• Experience selling Personal Lines: Home and Auto.
• Established referral relationships with Realtors or mortgage pros.
• Strong sales and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Sell Personal Lines insurance products, including Homeowners and Automobile, to Florida-based clients.
• Generate new business through existing referral sources such as Realtors, mortgage loan officers, and related professionals.
• Quote and bind policies using agency systems and carrier platforms.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with referral partners.
• Build, manage, and grow a personal book of business within the agency.
• Collaborate with the agency’s service team for endorsements, renewals, and documentation.
