Job summary

ARCXIS is seeking a Florida-licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PLS/PSM) to support a residential surveying practice for homebuilders across Florida. The role provides professional oversight for Florida survey work and may serve as qualifying principal officer for ARCXIS’s Florida surveying business authorization.

The candidate will oversee field and office surveying, review production work, and ensure deliverables meet technical, legal, and company standards.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold an active Florida PLS/PSM license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of surveying experience including boundary and construction.
• Experience supervising field and office survey production.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active Florida PLS/PSM license in good standing.
• Oversee residential boundary, construction, and topographic surveys.
• Provide professional supervision and independent judgment on survey work.
• Review and seal survey documents when compliant with requirements.
• Coordinate with drafting and production teams to ensure timely deliverables.
