Job summary

ARCXIS in Florida is seeking a licensed Standard Residential Inspector to join our third-party inspection team. You will verify compliance with Florida Building Code and approved plans, conduct detailed field inspections, and document findings for the project team.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of inspection experience, a valid FL inspector license, and strong communication skills to coordinate with builders, residents, and municipal staff.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Standard Residential Inspector license or FL Commercial equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of field code compliance inspections experience.
• Customer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed field inspections for compliance with state and local codes.
• Maintain comprehensive inspection records and documentation.
• Explain findings and implications to clients, residents and stakeholders.
• Develop professional relationships with Construction Managers and municipal staff.
• Stay updated on Florida building codes and standards.
