Job summary
ARCXIS in Florida seeks a detailed-oriented Licensed Residential Inspector to join our Third-Party Private Provider Inspection Team in Ocala. You will conduct comprehensive inspections for Florida Building Code compliance, maintain records, and communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.
The role requires at least 2 years of field inspection experience, a valid Florida BN license or FL Commercial equivalent, and comfort with tablets, smartphones, and laptops in a fast-paced field
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Standard Residential Inspector (BN License) or FL Commercial equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience related to field code compliance inspections.
- Customer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections per day.
- Comfort using technology including computers, tablets and smartphones.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed field inspections for compliance with state and local building codes.
- Maintain comprehensive project records, inspection results and related documentation.
- Communicate clearly with clients, residents and stakeholders about findings and codes.
- Foster professional relationships with Construction Managers and municipal staff.
- Stay current on Florida building codes, regulations and standards.
