Job summary

ARCXIS, a leading inspection and engineering firm, is seeking a Florida Licensed Standard Residential Inspector to join our private provider inspection team. The role involves performing detailed field inspections to verify compliance with the Florida Building Code and approved plans, maintaining records, and communicating findings to clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Florida inspector license, a clean driving record, and at least 2 years of inspection experience.

Qualifications

Valid Florida Standard Residential Inspector license or FL Commercial equivalent.
Valid Florida Driver License.
Reliable transportation to multiple sites daily.
Minimum 2 years' field code compliance inspection experience.
Customer service oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints and specifications.
Ability to work independently with support when needed.
Comfort with technology (computers/tablets/smartphones).

Responsibilities

Perform detailed field inspections for compliance with Florida Building Code and local codes.
Maintain thorough inspection records, test results and municipal documents.
Explain findings clearly to clients, residents and stakeholders; advise on best practices.
Build strong relationships with Construction Managers, trades and municipal staff.
Stay current with Florida codes, regulations and standards.
