MedMark Treatment Centers in Florida is seeking a knowledgeable Per Diem Pharmacist to provide pharmacy services to patients, nurses, physicians and medical staff by interpreting orders and evaluating the validity and safety of prescriptions. The role emphasizes dispensing, order review and maintaining drug handling policies in an outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and is licensed as a Pharmacist.

Competenze

Must have CPR and First Aid certification.
HIPAA, Federal, State and CARF standards knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of medications that interact with methadone.

Mansioni

Ensure drugs are handled safely to protect patients.
Develop and maintain policies for drug handling and distribution; update annually.
Ensure safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical services.
Document visits and activities including irregularities.
Provide training on medication receipt, administration and adverse reactions.
