Job summary

The Skilled Nursing Tavernier is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead daily operations of our Florida facility. You will ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and a positive work environment for staff and families.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, policy development, staff recruitment and training, and strategic planning to improve services. A valid Florida NHA license and a minimum of 3 years in long-term care leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Florida Nursing Home Administrator license
• Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in long-term care

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility meets or exceeds all regulatory requirements and maintains licensure.
• Provide leadership and direction to all facility staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Manage the facility's financial performance, including budgeting, expense management, and revenue generation.
• Monitor and improve resident satisfaction, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.
• Lead the recruitment, training, and retention of qualified staff.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the facility, residents' families, and the community.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance facility operations and services.
• Address any resident or family concerns promptly and professionally.
