Job summary

AECOM’s Urbanism + Planning team is seeking a visionary Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Project Manager for Orlando, FL and South Florida. You will lead pursuit of high-profile projects, grow the practice, and mentor staff, while delivering design excellence and effective project delivery.

The role requires a BA/BS in Landscape Architecture, FL licensure, and 6+ years of related experience including project management. A hybrid work model with in-office presence is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Landscape Architecture and 6+ years of related site design and urban design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 yrs of project management experience.
• Licensed Landscape Architect (FL).
• Experience managing landscape architecture and urban design or planning projects.
• U.S. Driver’s License and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
• U.S. Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Build client relationships, pre-position for opportunities, and contribute to a portfolio of work that aligns with growth objectives.
• Serve as Project Manager on a range of assignments for public and private sector clients and become an AECOM certified project manager within 6 months of hire date.
• Lead projects from inception through construction while advocating for design excellence and constructability.
• Contribute to AECOM’s culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
