Job summary

AECOM's Urbanism + Planning team is seeking a visionary Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Project Manager for our Orlando, FL and South Florida Studio.

The role will lead pursuit of high-profile projects, grow the Central Florida practice, and advance design excellence, project delivery, and staff mentoring.

Hybrid role requires at least 3 days in the office, Florida licensure, and a track record in landscape architecture and urban design.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Landscape Architecture + 6 years of related site design and urban design experience or demonstrated equivalency including 2 yrs of project management experience.
• Licensed Landscape Architect (FL).
• US Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
• US Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit of a range of high-profile projects and assist with growing AECOM’s award winning urbanism practice in Central Florida with the goal of advancing design excellence, thought leadership, project delivery, and staff mentoring.
• Build client relationships and pre-position for opportunities; contribute to a portfolio of work that aligns with growth objectives.
• Serve as Project Manager on assignments for public and private sector clients and become an AECOM certified project manager within 6 mos. of hire date.
• Work with staff to lead and deliver projects from inception through construction while advocating for design excellence and constructability.
• Proactively focus on team building and mentor junior staff.
