Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician in the Florida Keys. You will travel to customer sites to service and repair equipment, using diagrams and tech support to diagnose issues and ensure proper operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Basic comfort using hand tools, tablets, and mobile technology.
• Dependability and ability to work independently after training.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing technical training.
• Ability to participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel, if assigned.
• Current residence within the Florida Keys.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations throughout the Florida Keys to service and repair commercial kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as commercial cooking appliances, refrigeration units, dishwashing and ware‑washing equipment, and other foodservice systems.
• Use diagrams, schematics, training resources, and technical support to diagnose equipment issues.
• Communicate with manufacturers and internal technical support teams when assistance is needed.
• Install replacement parts and verify that equipment is operating properly.
• Explain completed repairs and service recommendations clearly and professionally to customers.
• Complete work orders, time records, receipts, and inventory documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain an organized company service vehicle, including assigned tools and parts.
• Follow all company safety procedures and professional service standards.
• Participate in an emergency on‑call rotation that may include nights and weekends.
