Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service cooking, refrigeration, and ware-washing equipment. You will diagnose and repair faults, read diagrams, and install parts at customer sites.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, 1 year of technical refrigeration/kitchen equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and on-call rotation availability with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts.
• Install parts ordered for customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Produce accurate administrative documents (work orders, time reporting, receipts).
• Maintain a neat service vehicle and inventory.
