Job summary

Knight Foundation seeks a Senior Program Officer, Community Impact (Florida) based in Miami to translate strategy into plans across Miami, West Palm Beach, Bradenton and Tallahassee. You will manage grants, foster partnerships and drive impact through financial, knowledge and social capital investments.

Reporting to the VP/Community Impact, you will align mission, operations and learning, supporting initiatives that strengthen the information ecosystem, economic mobility and cultural vibrancy

Responsibilities

• Active management of grants portfolios for Florida communities, including budgets, outcomes, reporting and follow-through.
• Work with increasing independence, contributing recommendations and elevating risks and opportunities to leadership.
• Conduct rigorous due diligence on strategic fit, organizational health and financial information.
• Establish and monitor clear outcome goals across grants and initiatives with evidence-based refinement.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, field learning and practices that improve effectiveness.
• Build constructive relationships with grantees, residents, practitioners and public agencies to strengthen Knight's presence.
