Inspected is seeking a Building Code Administrator to enforce the Florida Building Code (FBC) and ICC/IRC across our virtual inspection and plan review operations. This role serves as the company’s AHJ resource for internal teams, clients, and municipal partners, ensuring compliance with state and local requirements.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Active ICC Certified Building Code Administrator certification required.
• Florida DBPR Certified Building Code Administrator license required, or ability to obtain within defined period.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in building code administration, enforcement, or related field; AHJ experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of the Florida Building Code (FBC), ICC/IRC codes, and jurisdictional requirements.

• Serves as AHJ resource for government, educational, and municipal accounts.
• Monitors changes to code and communicates updates to internal teams.
• Represents Inspected in code compliance matters with regulatory agencies and municipal partners.
• Provides expert code analysis and technical direction to staff.
• Oversees QA/QC reviews of inspection and plan review work product.
• Reviews and resolves complex code compliance issues with contractors and municipal officials.
• Supports department planning, cost controls, and service line implementation.
• Prepares cost estimates and proposals for code-related service lines as needed.
• Supports emergency operations and incident management planning as needed.
• Participates in cross-training to broaden institutional code knowledge.
