Job summary

Inspected is seeking a Building Code Administrator to serve as the senior code authority for Florida operations. You will interpret and enforce the Florida Building Code and related ICC/IRC standards for our remote inspection and plan review services.

You will lead QA/QC, monitor code changes, and coordinate with municipal partners to ensure compliant outcomes as Inspected expands into new markets in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Active ICC Building Code Administrator certification is required or obtainable.
• DBPR Building Code Administrator license required or obtainable within defined period.
• 10+ years in building code administration, enforcement, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Administers, interprets, and enforces FBC/ICC code requirements across inspection and plan review.
• Serves as AHJ resource for government, educational, and municipal accounts.
• Monitors changes to the Florida Building Code and ICC/IRC codes and communicates updates to teams.
• Represents Inspected in code compliance matters with regulatory agencies and municipal partners.
• Provides expert code analysis, interpretation, and technical direction to staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
