Inspected, a fast-growing construction technology company delivering remote inspections across Florida, seeks a Building Code Administrator to oversee FBC enforcement.

You will be the company’s subject matter expert on code compliance, serving AHJ resources for internal teams and municipal partners while guiding plan reviews.

This senior role shapes how inspections align with state, local, and jurisdictional requirements in a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree in CM/Engineering preferred.
• Active ICC Building Code Administrator certification required.
• DBPR Building Code Administrator license required or obtainable within defined period.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in building code administration or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Building Code and jurisdictional requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Administers, interprets, and enforces FBC/ICC code requirements across all service lines.
• Serves as AHJ resource for government, educational, and municipal accounts.
• Monitors code changes and communicates updates to internal teams.
• Represents Inspected in code compliance matters with regulatory agencies.
• Provides expert code analysis and technical direction to staff.
• Reviews QA/QC of inspection and plan review work products.
• Prepares cost estimates and proposals for code-related service lines.
• Supports emergency operations and cross-training.
