Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Transportation Alternative Project Delivery Leader for Florida to manage design-build APD programs. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, oversee design management, and ensure successful project delivery from planning through construction across Florida offices.

The role requires 15+ years in transportation projects, PE licensure (or ability to obtain), and strong business development skills. Based in Florida with travel as needed to support projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive engineering and project management experience on large transportation projects.
• Florida experience preferred.
• PE licensed or able to obtain license within 6 months; PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams on major APD projects from positioning to proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction services.
• Serve as design manager, deputy design manager, or quality manager on APD projects.
• Represent Stantec as a technical leader on major APD projects.
• Identify resources, manage contracts, track costs and schedule, and maintain budget.
• Support Florida Transportation APD work through business development initiatives.
• Coordinate APD projects across the South region as needed.
• Follow health, safety and security guidelines to protect staff and the public.
• Develop client relationships and establish partnerships with contractors and consultants.
