Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a Floral Department Associate to maintain stocked, attractive displays and to greet customers with a friendly, helpful attitude. You will support merchandising, pricing, and product quality while following health and safety standards.

The role involves assisting with deliveries, ensuring freshness, and collaborating with teammates to meet store goals. Prior experience is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation.
• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps floral department stocked and appealing, greets customers, discusses needs and resolves concerns.
• Sets up displays, ensures freshness and price signage, handles damaged product per procedures.
• Merchandises per guidelines and uses displays to drive sales.
• Maintains sanitation and health standards in the department as directed.
• Inspects deliveries, minimizes loss, and reports shortages or overages to management.
• Assists with receiving and storage of deliveries when trained.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department function.
• Uses PPE as required and adheres to safety guidelines.
