Job summary

The Design Haus is seeking a Floral Operations Specialist – Strike Team to manage end-of-night breakdowns for floral installations and event décor at The Olana Design Center, Hickory Creek, TX. This role is fast-paced, physical, and requires strong organization and teamwork to ensure assets are secured and inventory logged.

Responsibilities include breaking down, packing, transporting items, and assisting with light setup as needed, with late-night and weekend availability essential.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to move with urgency and stay focused in late-night environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous event, warehouse, or floral experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute timely and efficient breakdown of floral installations and event décor
• Safely remove, pack, and transport all floral, rentals, and hard goods from event sites
• Identify and separate reusable inventory vs. disposal items
• Ensure all items are accounted for, protected, and loaded properly for return
• Maintain professionalism while working in active event environments during late-night hours
• Unload and return all items to the warehouse in an organized manner
• Clean, sort, and reset inventory for the next production cycle
• Report damages, shortages, or quality issues immediately
• Support inventory organization to maintain efficiency across events
• Work closely with the Operations Lead to ensure smooth strike execution
• Assist with light installation/setup as needed, but primary focus remains breakdown
• Maintain strong communication with team members during fast-paced transitions
• Follow all safety protocols when handling equipment, ladders, and large installations
• Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace during and after strike
