Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is seeking a Floral Operations Assistant to support the Floral Designer with conditioning, transport, installation, and maintenance of floral materials and arrangements for events across the Foundation.

The role involves duties from inventory management to delivering on-site, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime during peak periods. Requires a high school diploma and Virginia driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• May not have moving violations exceeding set limits in 12/36 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist floral designer with conditioning and basic arrangements.
• Prepare and deliver completed arrangements on-site.
• Monitor installations and advise on maintenance or reinstallation.
• Maintain floral studio inventory and cleanliness.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and support with seasonal displays.
