Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets is seeking a friendly floral associate to enhance our in-store experience in Spokane Valley. You will listen to customers, recommend floral products, and craft beautiful bouquets while ensuring the floral department remains well-stocked and organized.

You will handle receiving shipments, arranging displays, and advising customers on care tips to extend the life of their flowers. A team-focused spirit and dedication to quality are essential.

Qualifications

Candidates should have experience in a similar role and a genuine dedication to outstanding customer service.
Knowledgeable about flower handling techniques and plant care.
Familiarity with different flower types, arrangements and conditioning.
Clear, positive communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

Listen to customers to understand their needs.
Engage customers and promote floral products and services.
Maintain floral department stock and display attractive bouquets.
Order flowers, plants, and other greenery as needed.
Receive shipments and prepare flowers for display.
Create bouquets and floral arrangements with attention to quality.
Advise customers on care and maintenance of arrangements.
Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper watering and storage.

What You'll Do:

Listen to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need
Go the extra mile to engage customers
Examine sales floor to ensure floral department is well-stocked
Order flowers, plants, and other greenery for use.
Receiving shipments, and then snipping and displaying our flowers.
Creating beautiful and stunning bouquets and floral arrangements.
Advise customers on the proper care and maintenance of floral arrangements.
Maintain inventory levels of floral department and restock as needed.
Ensure that flowers and plants are properly watered and stored to prevent wilting.
Foster a productive working environment.
Motivate and inspire staff while facilitating personal growth.
Set strategic long and short-term goals and evaluate outcomes.
Guarantee the highest levels of quality are met.
Staying updated with the latest trends in the floral industry.
Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.
