Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets Inc. in Spokane Valley is seeking a Floral Associate to listen to customers, engage them with friendly service, and help create beautiful bouquets.

You will stock the floral department, display our flowers, and ensure their freshness and appeal for daily shoppers. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, trimming and arranging stems, advising customers on care, maintaining inventory, and supporting a collaborative team that delivers memorable shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• A genuine dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience.
• Facilitate clear, concise, and positive interactions with others.
• Knowledgeable about flower handling techniques
• Acutely familiar with plants' nutritional needs and life spans.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need.
• Go the extra mile to engage customers.
• Examine sales floor to ensure floral department is well-stocked.
• Order flowers, plants, and other greenery for use.
• Receiving shipments, and then snipping and displaying our flowers.
• Creating beautiful and stunning bouquets and floral arrangements.
• Advise customers on the proper care and maintenance of floral arrangements.
• Maintain inventory levels of floral department and restock as needed.
• Ensure that flowers and plants are properly watered and stored to prevent wilting.
• Foster a productive working environment.
• Motivate and inspire staff while facilitating personal growth.
• Set strategic long and short-term goals and evaluate outcomes.
• Guarantee the highest levels of quality are met.
• Staying updated with the latest trends in the floral industry.
• Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.
