Rosauers Supermarkets in Spokane Valley, WA, seeks a Floral Department team member to assist customers, maintain a thriving floral display, and craft beautiful bouquets. You’ll help with stocking, receiving shipments, and advising customers on plant care.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older.
• Complete a pre-employment background check
• Knowledgeable about flower handling techniques
• Acutely familiar with plants' nutritional needs and life spans.
• Sound knowledge of different flower types is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers to understand needs.
• Engage customers and provide excellent service.
• Ensure floral department is well-stocked and organized.
• Order flowers, plants, and greenery for use.
• Receive shipments, snip and display flowers.
• Create bouquets and stunning floral arrangements.
• Advise customers on proper care and maintenance.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock as needed.
• Water and store flowers to prevent wilting.
• Foster a productive working environment.
• Motivate and inspire staff while facilitating growth.
• Set strategic long and short-term goals and evaluate outcomes.
• Guarantee high quality and stay updated with floral trends.
• Perform other duties to support company success.

What You'll Do:

• Listen to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need
• Go the extra mile to engage customers
• Examine sales floor to ensure floral department is well-stocked
• Order flowers, plants, and other greenery for use.
• Receiving shipments, and then snipping and displaying our flowers.
• Creating beautiful and stunning bouquets and floral arrangements.
• Advise customers on the proper care and maintenance of floral arrangements.
• Maintain inventory levels of floral department and restock as needed.
• Ensure that flowers and plants are properly watered and stored to prevent wilting.
• Foster a productive working environment.
• Motivate and inspire staff while facilitating personal growth.
• Set strategic long and short-term goals and evaluate outcomes.
• Guarantee the highest levels of quality are met.
• Staying updated with the latest trends in the floral industry.
• Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.
