Albertsons Companies is hiring a Floral Designer in Wheat Ridge, CO. You will create stunning floral arrangements, drawing on seasonality and care knowledge, while delivering excellent service and maintaining tidy workspaces.

You will lift up to 40 lbs, work with helium tanks and basic POS tools, and collaborate with teammates to ensure memorable experiences for customers celebrating life’s moments.

Qualifications

• Floral design experience with a strong creative eye and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements.
• Ability to engage with customers, uncover needs, and translate ideas into arrangements.
• Capable of maintaining clean, efficient workspaces and managing inventory and supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation and stand/move throughout the day.
• Familiarity with floral tools, helium tanks, and basic point-of-sale systems.

A Day in the Life:

As a Floral Designer, no two days are ever the same. Customers walk in with dreams—visions of romance, celebration, or heartfelt remembrance—and you bring those visions to life. With creativity and care, you design stunning arrangements using your knowledge of floral seasonality and perishability. You maintain clean, organized workspaces and displays, replenish inventory, and ensure every stem and ribbon is perfectly placed. You’ll also lift and move floral products and supplies, often up to 40 lbs., and work with helium tanks and other tools of the trade. If you have a green thumb, a creative eye, and a passion for helping others celebrate life’s moments, this is the role for you.

What you bring to the table:

• Floral Design Expertise: Experience in floral arrangement and design, with a strong creative eye and attention to detail.
• Product Knowledge: Familiar with floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements.

Pay Transparency:

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range.
