The Kroger Family of Companies seeks an enthusiastic floral assistant for its Madison, WI store. You will greet customers, design floral arrangements, help with orders, and package items carefully.

You’ll keep the department tidy, assist with locating items, and support cash register operations while upholding safety and company values. Applicants should have strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities, plus prior grocery retail or customer service experience.

• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, labels and training materials.
• Ability to multi-task and work with all levels of the organization.

• Capability to work with cleaning solutions and safe use of tools.

• Experience in grocery retail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist and greet customers promptly and provide great service.
• Design and create floral arrangements to fulfill orders.
• Package orders safely and efficiently.
• Keep merchandise and supplies organized in their areas.
• Maintain customer records and assist with location and selection.
• Handle phone orders promptly and courteously.
• Decorate and merchandise the department as needed.
• Operate cash register following company procedures.
• Maintain floors, products, and signage in good condition.
• Respect safety policies and adhere to laws and regulations.
• Be flexible to work weekends and holidays as required.
