Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Floral Manager to lead the floral department, provide friendly customer service, and drive sales and profitability. You will supervise clerks, schedule staff, and ensure merchandising standards while maintaining department costs.

You will design arrangements, manage inventory, process orders, operate displays, and handle balloons and plant care. The role requires experience in floral operations and a proven ability to train and motivate a team.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience.
• Experience as floral clerk or designer.
• Desired: prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service per employer standards and policy.
• Train, schedule, and supervise floral clerks to optimize staffing.
• Write schedules for the Floral Department with Store Director approval.
• Follow merchandising guidelines to implement plans.
• Resolve customer issues related to the floral area.
• Design aesthetically pleasing floral arrangements for display or special requests.
• Manage inventory to drive sales and profits.
• Perform daily inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Input floral department orders into computer.
• Stock displays and remove expired items daily.
• Operate helium tank to inflate balloons and care for plants.
• Maintain cleanliness of the floral area and operate the cash register.
• Monitor internal communications and store information daily.
• Other duties as assigned.
