Job summary

Ridley's Family Markets, Inc. is seeking a Floral Department team member to support daily operations in the Floral Department.

The role involves maintaining friendly customer relations, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring accurate pricing and merchandising of floral products. You will assist in planning, organizing, and directing floral activities while upholding company policies and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Word required.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store through honest communication.
• Comply with all company policies and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
• Provide professional examples for other store team members to follow.
• Assist in the planning, organization, and direction of the Floral Department.
• Know and cost out all material to determine proper retails.
• Assist in maintaining effective department labor and inventory controls.
