Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Floral Department with a focus on customer service, creativity, and department readiness.
• Create a welcoming, customer‑focused environment and assist with product selection, custom orders, events, and consultations.
• Design, prepare, and merchandise floral arrangements, bouquets, gift items, and seasonal programs.
• Execute division merchandising plans, seasonal sets, holiday programs, and promotional displays.
• Maintain full, fresh, visually appealing floral cases, tables, and displays with accurate signage and pricing.
• Monitor plant and flower health, hydration, freshness, and overall presentation standards.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, shrink, markdowns, and waste tracking.
• Oversee proper receiving, conditioning, rotation, and cooler organization.
• Build and manage schedules aligned with sales volume and labor targets.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop floral associates while fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, handling, labeling, and company operational standards.
