FLORAL/CLERK (Finance)

Assist in designing and merchandising floral items and arrangements for display or sale, or in response to customer requests. Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, labels, and training materials
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work professionally with all organizational levels
• Personal initiative and follow-through
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Skills in production, merchandising, and customer service related to floral sales
• Ability to safely handle cleaning solutions, sharp tools, and operate equipment

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in grocery retail and customer service
• Experience with cash registers and making change

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and greet customers promptly, providing excellent service
• Maintain professionalism, tact, and courtesy in all interactions
• Design and create floral arrangements and other items for customer orders
• Package orders safely and efficiently
• Organize merchandise and supplies properly
• Maintain customer records and assist in location and selection of items
• Handle calls and orders courteously
• Decorate and merchandise the department
• Keep tools, carts, and supplies organized and the area clean and safe
• Maintain plants and process flower arrangements and balloons
• Ensure proper signage, product rotation, and quality control
• Follow company policies, procedures, and legal requirements
• Operate the cash register as per procedures
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
