Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) in The Colony, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coordinate department workflow and be the main contact for the team. This full-time role directs daily tasks, enforces safety, and supports management with policies and training.

Candidates should have 3+ years in warehousing and customer-facing roles, strong computer skills, and leadership experience. Night/weekend hours may be required; pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• 3 years warehouse experience.
• 3 years customer contact experience.
• Lead experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per department.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to operate scanning equipment.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours as needed.
• Pre-employment screening including background check.

Responsibilities

• Safety first: ensure staff have completed required trainings.
• Work with management to maintain policies, training material, and communications.
• Track attendance and time off; assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Coach: train staff on equipment, policy updates, and process improvements.
• Complete departmental projects and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor safety and proper use of equipment.
• Interact with internal and external customers and maintain relationships.
