Job description

Protect-All Flooring, manufacturer of recycled vinyl commercial flooring products, has a remote opening for a Technical Sales Rep that will travel in the West Coast Sales Region. This is a full-time, year-round position with excellent benefits and growth potential. The ideal candidate would be located near the Phoenix, Arizona area. The position has a starting salary between $75,000 - 80,000 with an incentive bonus plan. Company cell phone, tablet, vehicle allowance, and business expense card is provided.

Position Responsibilities:

  • To provide training and technical support to Protect-All customers, contractors and sales reps
  • Assist in the Research & Development of new and existing products
  • Host visiting flooring contractors for in-house and field training seminars on a monthly basis and evaluate their performance
  • Will be responsible for warranty inspections, trouble shooting and weekly reporting
  • Develop and maintain training related documents
  • Will develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Interact with other departments in the organization to ensure the proper ordering of Protect-All products
  • Assist with testing & ASTM information to support sales team
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree or related equivalent experience in the flooring or construction industry
  • A minimum of 4 years of flooring installation experience or construction related experience preferred
  • Must be organized and self-motivated
  • Must good Microsoft Office skills
  • Must be able to travel frequently (2 -3 weeks per month minimum)
  • Must have knowledge of commercial flooring installation methods
  • Possess outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Must have the desire to demonstrate installation methods during training classes
