Job summary

Lumber Liquidators in Memphis is seeking a results‑driven sales associate to help customers choose flooring and create spaces they love. You’ll drive revenue with up selling, service excellence, and participation in promotions.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in retail or sales (flooring knowledge a plus), strong communication and customer service skills, and flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of retail or sales experience preferred; flooring knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication, sales and customer service skills.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a bonus.
• Forklift certification required prior to operation.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Sell, upsell, and exceed revenue targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Build lasting relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
• Merchandise and maintain an organized showroom.
• Handle POS transactions, inventory management, and daily store operations.
• Resolve customer questions and issues quickly and professionally.
• Participate in promotional events and special projects to boost sales.
