Job summary

MDG Flooring America - Kiba Studios in Medina, OH is seeking a Sales Associate to guide customers from inquiry to installation, helping home and business owners navigate a major remodeling investment.

You’ll balance showroom duties with in-home visits, build relationships, close sales when the time is right, and stay current on product knowledge, warranties, and design options. We offer steady hours and earnings with health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Passion for decorating or designing.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Flexible hours including weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home visits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and neat showroom
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Handle sales from start to finish
• Sell flooring, window coverings, and floor care products
• Answer customer questions
• Help customer with decorating and/or design advice
• Prospect for new business
• Manage time in the showroom, in the customer’s home and prospecting for new clients
• Undergo extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert
• Keep up-to-date on the wide select of floors we offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each
