Bougainville Flooring Super Store on Oahu, Hawaii, seeks a Flooring Specialist to guide clients through flooring and home improvement journeys, from initial visit to project completion.

This client‑facing role combines sales, project coordination, and collaboration across departments. Strong communication, product knowledge, and CRM proficiency are essential for delivering personalized service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience.
• Experience in flooring, home improvement, or construction a plus.
• Ability to write clear, professional communication and confidently present information to managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Competency in understanding and calculating figures, including discounts, and percentages.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry product samples up to 15lbs.
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including some holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers via the store’s “Up” system during assigned workdays.
• Respond to customer inquiries and leads from various sources.
• Actively prospect and network to generate new business opportunities and expand your client base.
• Self‑manage a daily client outreach program focused on generating referrals and repeat business.
• Manage client orders from initiation through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Submit all required documentation and project details to internal departments.
• Coordinate with Production, Operations, Purchasing, and Accounting to facilitate seamless execution of projects.
• Maintain showroom displays and monitor stock levels.
• Participate in sales meetings, product knowledge (PK) sessions, and complete required online training through the company’s C1 university.
• Present PK sessions to team members and Sales Manager.
• Maintain and utilize CRM software to track customer data, interactions, and sales follow‑ups.
