Job summary

Floor & Decor’s Sales Associates play a key role in providing customers with friendly, accurate service and help in finding products to complete their project. This role supports a fast-paced, safe environment by keeping sales areas stocked and ready for shoppers.

We welcome candidates who love to learn, communicate well, and work as part of a team. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available, with flexible hours and benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Drug test may be required where state law allows.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Demonstrate and understand safety processes.
• Answer telephone according to guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
