Job summary

Romanoff Renovations is hiring a Flooring Installer Lead to install floor coverings including carpet, vinyl, tile, laminate, LVP, and hardwood per company standards. The role requires reviewing PO scope, verifying layouts, walking the site with customers, and ensuring quality and cleanliness after installation.

The position involves on-site work, coordination with local teams, and adherence to safety and procedural standards.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be willing to submit to a background check.
Must be able to submit proof of employment eligibility.
Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and possess vehicle insurance.
Flooring installation experience; knowledge of residential flooring installations.

Responsibilities

Review purchase orders to understand scope of work.
Review measurement diagrams to ensure understanding of the layout of installation; verify material sufficiency.
Walk job with customer before installation; confirm material selection, items to be moved, seams placement, and answer questions.
Install floor covering per industry and Romanoff standards.
Vacuum and clean job site; remove old and leftover material/scraps.
Drop off old material and scraps at local warehouse; sort recyclables.
Walk completed installation with customer to ensure satisfaction; address issues before leaving.
