Job summary

Jack Laurie Group is seeking dependable Flooring Installers to join our Commercial Flooring team in the Greater Indianapolis area, with travel across Indiana. This full-time role pays $18.00–$25.00 per hour and includes health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, holidays and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience installing commercial flooring products preferred.
• Experience with LVP, LVT, carpet tile, carpet, or sheet vinyl preferred.
• Construction, remodeling, or skilled trade experience considered.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install LVP, LVT, carpet, carpet tile, and sheet vinyl according to manufacturer specifications
• Measure, layout, and prepare flooring surfaces for installation
• Remove existing flooring and prepare subfloors
• Perform floor preparation including patching, grinding, leveling, and moisture mitigation
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and flooring equipment safely
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and team members
• Deliver quality workmanship while meeting project schedules
• Follow all company and job site safety requirements

Flooring Installer

Jack Laurie Group is seeking dependable, hardworking Flooring Installers to join our growing Commercial Flooring team. While this position is based in the Greater Indianapolis area, team members regularly travel throughout Indiana to complete flooring installation projects for commercial clients.

We are looking for individuals with experience installing commercial flooring products or candidates with construction experience who are eager to build a career in the flooring industry.

Flooring Products Installed

This role primarily installs:

• Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
  
• Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)
  
• Carpet
  
• Carpet Tile
  
• Sheet Vinyl
  

Responsibilities

• Install LVP, LVT, carpet, carpet tile, and sheet vinyl according to manufacturer specifications

Travel Requirements

• Position is based in the Greater Indianapolis area
  
• Regular travel to projects throughout Indiana is required
  
• Occasional overnight travel may be required depending on project location and schedule
  
• Hotel accommodations and travel expenses provided when applicable
  

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  
• Kneel, bend, crouch, and work on hands and knees throughout the day
  
• Stand and move for extended periods
