Job summary

Rite Rug, a long-standing flooring company in New York, seeks an Account Manager to oversee client relationships from project kickoff to completion. You will work with builders and project managers daily to ensure installations meet high standards.

The role requires hands-on site inspection, measuring and selecting installation methods, and guiding installers to finish on time and to customer satisfaction. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year experience in flooring installation.
• Commitment to safety in all work practices.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Reliable vehicle to travel to job sites.
• Pass drug test; subject to random testing.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with builders and project managers daily.
• Inspect job sites prior to installation to ensure readiness.
• Inspect job sites after installation to ensure timely completion.
• Determine best installation method and take measurements.
• Instruct installers on procedures and standards.
• Ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Address complaints or questions regarding installations.
• Pickup and deliver materials as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
