Job summary

Rite Rug Co is seeking an Account Manager in the Baltimore/Jessup area to oversee flooring installations from start to finish. You will coordinate with builders and project managers, inspect sites before and after installation, and ensure timely, quality work that satisfies customers.

The role requires at least one year of flooring experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a reliable vehicle for site travel. A drug test and random screenings are required.

$55,000 to $65,000 a year. Salary based on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the complete inspection of flooring installations

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Communicate with builders and project managers on a daily basis
• Inspect job site prior to installation to ensure everything is ready
• Inspect job site following installation to ensure proper and timely completion
• Determine best method of installation or repair, conduct measurements and instruct installers
• Ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction
• Respond to any complaints or questions regarding installations
• Pick up and deliver materials as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Have earned a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have at least one year experience in flooring installation.
• Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices.
• Be able to work independently and problem solve.
• Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
• Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites.
• Must be a good communicator.
• Required to pass drug test and subject to random testing.
