Job summary

Flooring America is seeking a Sales Consultant/Estimator to assist customers in the showroom and during in-home visits, analyzing needs, measuring spaces and guiding flooring selections. You will handle the sales process from start to finish, answer questions, and offer design advice while staying current on product benefits and warranties.

Qualifications

• College degree a plus, but not required.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Passion and/or experience decorating or designing.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• Personally well-organized.
• Microsoft Office a plus.
• Flexible work hours to include weekends.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for In-Home visits.

• Researching, sourcing, negotiation and obtaining best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Follow the process from start to finish and customer follow up is key.
• Maintain a clean and neat showroom.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Handle sales from start to finish.
• Sell flooring and floor care products.
• Answer customer questions and help with decorating/design advice.
• Prospect for new business and manage time between showroom and in-home visits.
• Undergo extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert.
• Keep up-to-date on the wide select of floors offered, along with benefits and warranties.
