Job summary

United Rentals in Missouri is seeking a Service Technician to support our Flooring and Facilities Solutions Division. You’ll perform maintenance checks, minor repairs, and demonstrations of rental flooring equipment, helping customers operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic knowledge of electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with position-specific tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental flooring equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Perform repairs of rental flooring equipment, including electrical checks and tagging for rental-ready status.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
