Job summary

United Rentals in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and minor repair rental flooring equipment in a safe, professional manner. You will perform checks, report conditions, demonstrate equipment, and assist with pickup/delivery while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic knowledge of electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with tools knowledge.
• Superior customer service and teamwork with good communication.
• Able to lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental flooring equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Perform repairs including wiring faults and tagging for rental ready status.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
