Carter Lumber is seeking a Flooring Design & Sales Specialist in Point Harbor, NC. You will present and sell flooring products, build relationships with customers, and train store personnel while keeping builder awareness of our flooring offerings.

Ideal candidates have strong sales experience, knowledge of building materials, and excellent communication skills. A flexible schedule is required as part of this role.

Responsabilités

• Develops customer relationships and determines customer needs.
• Responsible for maintaining and increasing the sales of flooring products.
• Gives presentations to builders and provides expert advice on product features and benefits.
• Prepares estimates for these products and ensures that they are ordered and shipped on time.
• Works closely with OSRs to analyze sales opportunities and assistance on the jobsite.
• Responsible for overseeing installed jobs.

A Carter Lumber Flooring Design & Sales Specialist is responsible for presenting and selling flooring products, as well as establishing a rapport with customers in the community. Communicates and trains store personnel and maintains builder awareness on flooring products. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Requirements:

• 3+ years flooring sales experience

Responsibilities:

Sales & Relationship Building

• Ensures all logs, workbooks and paperwork is complete and submitted as required.

Knowledge & Training

• Identifies personal growth needs and improvement opportunities; seeks to obtain product information; learns about packages and products.
• Completes required training and development courses.
