Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Buyer for Pottery Barn in San Francisco to support daily and seasonal tasks, maintain data integrity, and collaborate with Buyers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires onsite presence Monday-Thursday with a remote option on Friday in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help drive assortment strategies, analyze sales trends, and participate in seasonal floor sets while maintaining strong partner relationships across inventory, design, and

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of retail buying experience.
• Familiar and comfortable with pulling sales reports and strong ability to analyze business metrics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint); ability to create pivot tables and experience with advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain all SKUs in Merchandise systems.
• Manage visual line and merchandise lists.
• Communicate project and sample status updates; track new SKUs for placement and PO due dates.
