Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Associate Buyer, Domestic Sourcing for Pottery Barn in San Francisco. You will develop business strategies and seasonal assortment plans to maximize brand growth, sales and profits.

You will coordinate with Merchandising, Inventory, Ecom and Visual teams to ensure timely execution and involve third-party vendors in strategy execution. Responsibilities include owning assortment plans, providing SKU details, and supporting financial planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in corporate merchandising.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong written and verbal communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies and seasonal assortment plans to maximize brand, sales and profits.
• Own final assortment plans (line lists), product details, target retails, IMU and floor plan locations.
• Coordinate information across Merchandising, Inventory, Ecom and Visual to ensure processes and timelines are met.
• Present product vision and category performance to leadership team.
• Collaborate with merchants and third-party vendors to execute strategies, ensure product quality, meet on-time delivery, and maximize profitability.
