Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily floorcovering branch operations, including scheduling, customer service, merchandising, inventory, and safety. You will also manage, develop, and motivate branch employees and develop business strategies to meet goals and increase sales in a competitive marketplace.

This position's typical schedule is 48 hours per week, which may include evenings and/or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have at least a High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability.
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to store employees.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build and maintain product knowledge to make effective customer recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete branch administration.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Maintain outstanding store condition.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting as required.
• Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and/or employee complaints.
• Make outside sales calls to increase market share.
