Job summary

Voda in Fort Myers, FL seeks a Cleaning & Restoration Technician to deliver carpet and floor cleaning, upholstery, and restoration services for residential and commercial clients. This is a full-time role with advancement opportunities.

You will support water, fire, mold restoration, upsell value-added products, maintain equipment and complete documentation while communicating with customers. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required; IICRC certificates are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic proficiency with computers, email, and portable devices used to record daily activity.
• 1 year floor cleaning experience preferred, and/or some form of specialty cleaning.
• IICRC certificates highly desired (e.g., CCT preferred).

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services the company offers.
• Support the Restoration division regularly with water, fire, mold, biohazard restoration work.
• Participate in the company’s sales meetings and increase the average specialty cleaning ticket through upselling value-added products.
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation, authorizations, and customer invoices.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
