Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration of East Tampa is seeking a reliable Cleaning and Restoration Technician to perform carpet, floor cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and basic restoration tasks for customers in the Tampa area.

You will document work orders, interact with clients, maintain equipment, and pursue IICRC certifications as you gain experience. The role offers training, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Adequate math skills; apply techniques to determine equipment type and number of units.
• Basic proficiency in using computers, email, and portable devices to report daily activity.
• 1 year of floor cleaning experience preferred or related specialty cleaning (e.g. stripping & waxing, air duct cleaning, tile & grout, upholstery).
• IICRC certificates such as Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) are highly desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services offered by the company.
• Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Maintain technician daily log and work orders.
• Maintain appearance and stock of tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry.
• Hold yourself and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
