Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC is seeking an Assembly I to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products to customer specifications. This role emphasizes preparing the work area, selecting parts, and using hand tools to complete assemblies.

You will maintain safety and cleanliness, document production data, and participate in safety and quality programs. A high school diploma/GED is preferred, and there is no required experience; 18+ age required with a pay rate of $17.00/hour depending on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience required; 6 months manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and, if required, covers, labels, and bands components.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized and equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
• Performs duties in line with safety and quality procedures and standards.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
