Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. seeks an Assembler I in Jurupa Valley, CA to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products per customer specs. You will secure materials, operate hand tools, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following quality and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include setup, accuracy checks, production record keeping, and participation in safety/CI programs. This is an entry-level, on-site role with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and may cover, label, and band components.
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized; ensures equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection and reports issues.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
• Performs duties per safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
